women in power

It would seem that women in power are no better than men.
Sometime in December we got a new manager and then a new sup also. They seem to be on a mission to make me feel worthless. Even though I work very hard, and do everthing that is asked of me. It would seem that if a new rep's feeling are hurt, that is entirely my fault, and if my feelings are hurt, I need to suck it up and smile and not have feelings. At least this is the way it was put to me. No one takes the time to find out the history of that new rep, if they have had issues like this before, or ask the trainers how this person was in training. It's all on me, I'm the bad guy even if I was not. Life is what you make it. I'm making brownies (and so is the company I work for).

Old friends and new days.

So, I've been feeling kinda old and wanted to talk to some of my old highschool friends. I started searching myspace, and google and classmates.com. I have been successful to a point. I found a friend I really wanted to see again, and seem to be blown off by once he saw my picture and found out a little bit about my life now. I have a friend who emailed my that I can't for the life of me remember. I have a very old friend, that I don't really want to see me the way I am now, not because there is feelings there but because I have low self esteem. When we try and go back to the past to see if we ever really had friends, is it a good thing? or are we only opening up old wounds that never really healed? I was not very pretty in school, or bright, or determined to be Anything really.
But as I look back, I looked better then, than now, but I have a better life now than, then. What a weird world we live in. I find myself thinking how wonderful I have it, my husband of 15yrs still loves me, I have two great kids. I'm not on welfare or close to it, I'm not renting, I have a good job that I'm good at. There are worse things than being overweight. But I guess the weight of it still falls on me. I will have to either live with it or do something about it.

School starts, and mom's taxi is busier then ever!

Wow, ok school starts on Aug 13th, I still have to take them to get hair cuts, and boy my son really needs one. "It's in" he says, but everyone I know keeps saying, "How can you let him get away with that hair". I figure there are worse things than long stringy, grungy looking hair. But we do have an appointment on Wed, to try and clean it up a little. Kearsti on the other hand wants style and color. That's gonna cost me.

Now on top of this she has joined marching band (as well as being in concert band). I never realized how busy the band really was. They started band camp last week where the go to the school from 3-9 and practice, then when school starts they go on Tues and Thurs and again late hours. they already will have a game to preform at on the last Sat this month. Along with going to other schools for away games and going to competitions. Her Playing is about to get a whole lot better, not to mention her figure. She has all these breathing exercises to do and then 100 sit ups every night. When I was in school people in band were geeks, not anymore, there some of the coolest kids and the most popular! Excuse me, when did that happen?

And besides all of this they both want to try out for sports this year too! That means I need to get them each a physical, then taking them to and from practices. Kearsti did basketball on a co-ed team over the summer (which she was the only girl) I will post a pic of her. Life just got a whole lot busier a the Cedor home.

Spring School Pics

Ok so when I was in School Pictures were only once a year. Since I have had children and they got to about 2nd for one and 4th grade for the other, things have definately changed. They get pitures twice a year and look at these. Wow! She is only 14 but looks like she is 17. I'm extremely scared. High school starts this August and I think this time I may not live thru it and I'm not the one going. Posted by Picasa

The Morning After

The last day, time to pack up all the make up, hair products, cloths, shoes, you name it. But there's nothing like making new friends and having a great time. Posted by Picasa

Friends

And more friends. Posted by Picasa

Friends

and the more friends the better. Posted by Picasa

Last Night

But in the end its the fun and friends that matter. Posted by Picasa

Production number

Ok so this was a little blurry, cause I don't have the best digital camra but you get the idea. Posted by Picasa

Production number outfits

This was fun....and the next photo you will see the real thing. Posted by Picasa

waiting to do the interview

So they put the girls in a little room to wait before they go into the interviews. Stress, is like waiting for a real job interview, with lots of other applicants. Talk about real world stuff. STRESS! Posted by Picasa

Playing in the fountain.

Ok so I let her have some fun on her own. The pool was too hot, being that its like 112 outside in the day and the pools absorb all the heat all day. So at night the only thing that was cool was the fountain. Posted by Picasa

Formal Wear

Ok this is fun but very stressful. Do you wear your hair up or down? Do you curl it or keep it straight? Wear you bought crown or not? "The suspense is killing me, I hope it will last." Posted by Picasa

Pageant weekend

So I have been away at the annual pageant weekend. I thought I would blog some of the fun event in honor of my beautiful daughter. Who did not win or even place but had a great time anyway. She made lots of new friends and learned a great deal more about how these things work than we did last year. Ok so this first picture is the first night and she was ordering cheese cake from room service. (which tasted awful by the way). Posted by Picasa

My drinking glasses

Yes I did put glasses! I have a whole set of these babies and we use them til their dead. During the summer they are like .59 cents and we collect them. This keeps my kids of breaking my real glasses. Also they have a lid which helps keep spills from happening in my truck. In AZ you have to take liquids with you everywhere you go or you shrivel and die. Posted by Picasa

My address book

Its pathetic I know. I just keep shoving in these little slips of paper and big ones too, and saying some day I will write them all in and update my book. Never happens. Posted by Picasa

something new

My husband just had to have another truck to pull the boat and quads. Boys with Toys. Posted by Picasa
